Coachella 2014 - Weekend 1

I tend not to do a Coachella recap every year since - A) every blog/magazine/publication does one and B) I am frequently shooting from my phone or far away, so decent photos are hard to come by. However, I am going to this year because there were some excellent bands that I am not seeing much coverage for.

Washed Out

Washed Out - Call It Off by WeirdWorldRecordCo

Here is "Call it Off" the B side to Washed Out's newest single "Amor Fati".  "Amor Fati" originally appeared on Within Without.  "Call it Off" has a seriously Balearic sound, how epic would a Lindstrøm or Prins Thomas edit of this thing be?

Washed Out

Washed Out have a new album, "Within and Without" coming out on Sub Pop on July 12th.  That is the cover above.  Yup.  Below is a new song from the album, "Eyes Be Closed"  It is classic, epic, hazy washed out.  I have totally missed this band!
